1CMO Battalion Personnel Participate in KAMBOLLAYOKA Basketball for Peace Event

LANAO DEL SUR — February 20, 2024, The 2nd and 3rd Company personnel of the 1st Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, along with various partner agencies, participated in the KAMBOLLAYOKA Basketball for Peace event at the Municipal Gym in Marogong, Lanao del Sur.

 

The event aimed to promote peace and unity within the community and was attended by 2LT GEONELA B ACUNIN (AGS) PA, the Platoon Leader of the 3rd Company 1CMOBn, CMOR, PA as well as COL BILLY O DELA ROSA INF (GSC) PA, the Deputy Brigade Commander of the 103rd Brigade, 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Philippine Army.

 

Partner agencies such as the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) SCCB Project, the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), and the Local Government Units of Marogong, Lanao del Sur also joined hands in support of this initiative. with hopes for continued cooperation and collaboration towards peace and prosperity in the region.
