Kuta Dao, Pagadian City, ZDS - In military world, the higher the rank means the higher the responsibility, this is the new challenge to the newly promoted Officer of 1st Civil-Military Operations “Mahigalaon” Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army led by Ltc Abdurasad D Sirajan, as it commenced on March 11, 2024 a Donning of Rank Ceremony to the newly promoted officer as well as awarding of certificates and pinning of CMO tabs held at Mahigalaon Ground, 1CMOBn Headquarters.
Ltc Sirajan presided over the said momentous activity and was assisted by Ltc Napoly P Cariazo, the battalion S1 Officer for Personnel and Maj Gilbert C Osores, the battalion Executive Officer. 2Lt Nica Aaron is promoted from 2nd Lieutenant to 1st Lieutenant, while Quick Reaction Team (QRT) members deployed in Lanao Del Norte led by TSg Mikail Jalali supporting 2nd Mechanized Brigade received respectively their well-deserved certificates of appreciations of their unyielding efforts and dedication to their mandated task and one (1) officer and one (1) enlisted personnel received their CMO tabs.
In his remarks, Ltc Sirajan expresses his accolades of congratulations to the newly promoted 1Lt Aaron for her unwavering devotion to her work as an officer and gratefulness and thanks to the QRT members. He also added, that upon the stint of his tenure as battalion commander, several accomplishments have been accomplished by its line companies and Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) in helping its supported Operational Control Units (OPCON Units) in neutralizing and forcing its enemies (CTGs and LTGs) to surrender.
Moreover, in his closing remarks, Ltc Sirajan inspired all Mahigalaon troopers to keep striving for excellence, and dedication for the battalion. The event marked not only a recognition of achievements but also a call to embrace the weighty responsibilities of the newly promoted officer who is currently the 2nd Coy's Executive Officer of this Battalion.
